Formation. (April 1943)
Formed 1 April 1943 at Tallinn-Ulemiste/Estonia (ex-15./Aufkl.Gr. 127) with Arado Ar 95 and Heinkel He 60 floatplanes flown by Estonian volunteers.[1]
North Russia and Gulf of Finland. (April 1943 - October 1943)
April – October 1943: remained at Tallinn-Ulemiste. The Staffel’s mission was unchanged from that of its predecessor: coastal reconnaissance and anti-submarine patrols over the Gulf of Finland. The flights were boring and incidents were few.
19 May 1943: Ar 95 flipped over while landing at Tallinn-Ulemiste, 40%.
18 October 1943: renamed 1./Seeaufklärungsgruppe 127.
