Formation. (Oct 43)

Formed on or about 15 October 1943 at Strausberg/33 km E of Berlin (or Strassburg (Strasbourg) in Alsace in France?). One source states that it may have been formed from Stab/Fliegerausbildungsdivision 5, but no record of this Division has been found in any of the surviving documentation. Responsible from its inception for all Jagd-, Nachtjagd- and Zerstörerschulen (schools).[1]


Germany. (Oct 43 - May 45)

9 Jun 44: a Bf 108 B-1 assigned to the Stab made a forced landing N of Kulmbach near Bayreuth, 100%, Hptm. Rudolf Krzywon and another both killed.[2]

1 Jul 44: reassigned from OKL to Luftflotte 10 with effect from this date.[3]

Dec 44: Stab now at Döberitz-Elsgrund near Berlin.[4]

2 Feb 45: subordinated: JG 101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 110; ZG 101; NJG 101; Schiessschule d.Lw.; Fluglehrerschule d.Lw.[5]

8 Feb 45: Döberitz-Elsgrund under General der Fliegerausbildung.[6]
