Formation and Training. (c.Jan 41 - May 41)

Formed or ordered formed in January 1941 in the West (possibly at Brieg?) using assets provided by 1.(H)/31 and equipped with Henschel Hs 126s.[1]

Central Russia. (Jun 41 - Fall 41)

Assigned to support XXXXVI. Armeekorps (mot), which was resting and refitting after the Balkan Campaign until around the end of June, the Staffel advanced across Belorussia along the line Smolensk (16 July) - Konotop (25 August) Bryansk (6 October).

11.8.41: at Shatalovka/55 km SE of Smolensk under Koluft Panzergruppe 2.

12.9.41: Klemm Kl 35 belonging to the Staffel crash landed at Surazh/ 135 km W of Bryansk, 30%.
