Fliegerführer Atlantik
Mar 1941 – formed from part of Gen.Kdo/IV Fliegerkorps.[1] Subordinated to Luftflotte 3 and located at Brandérion near Lorient. Obslt Martin Harlinghausen was appointed to command the unit.[2]

Fliegerführer Atlantik's task was to provide armed reconnaissance on behalf of the Befehlshaber der U-Boote as well as carrying out anti-shipping attacks around British waters.[4]
