Nachtjagdgeschwader 4^[2] - Rosch indicates that some sources considered that the code G9 was assigned to NJG 4, but that would mean that NJG 1 and4 operated with the same code between Apr 1941 and Jan 1943. It is more likely that NJG 4 received some aircraft transfered from NJG 1 and that those aircraft carried the G9 code until repainted/recoded
