History

Established prewar as Chef des Ausbildungswesens der Luftwaffe (Chief of the Air Force Training Organization), and in February 1939 was assigned under Chef der Luftwehr.[1]


10 Oct 42: reassigned under Generalinspekteur d.Lw.[2]

27 Jul 43: renamed as above.[3]

Nov 44: had 89 officers and 183 others assigned - responsible for all aircrew training, instructor personnel, flying schools, regulations and training materials.[4]

8 Feb 45: subordinated 1., 2., 3. and 4. Fliegerschuldivisionen and a number of other training commands and staffs on this date.[5]

8 Mar 45: all or part of this Stab in transfer from Berlin-Werder to Bayreuth.[6]

No information has been found concerning its exact date of formation and disbandment.[7]


4 May 43: Fw 190A-4 crashed at Fp. Jüterbog, 100%.

19 Dec 43: Junkers W 34 assigned to this office damaged in a landing accident at Fp.Göppingen, 30%.

8 Sep 44: Bücker Bü 181C-1 of this office struck the ground at Semmering, 100%, pilot killed.
