History
Established 1 February 1939 and reported to Reichsmarschall Göring personally. The general and his staff coordinated the operational employment of all Luftwaffe tactical reconnaissance aircraft and units with the German Army, which was the sole user of their services. Disbanded on or about 14 April 1942 and all assets combined with the Inspekteur der Aufklärungsflieger to form General der Aufklärungsflieger und General der Luftwaffe beim OKH.[1]

No information has been found regarding dates of formation and disbandment.
History
29 Jan 41: a French Bloch 175 assigned to this Stab crashed on take-off at Fp. Saarbrücken, 50%.[2]
