Formation and History. (Jun 41 - Jun 42)
Formed 5 June 1941 at Athens/Greece under Seenotdienstführer Mittelmeer as a small operations staff to direct all air-sea rescue missions undertaken by Seenotstaffeln 6, 7 and 8. Disbanded c. 1 June 1942.[1]
