Formation. (May 41)

Formed 1 May 1941 at Amsterdam-Schiphol, initially as Jagdabschnittsführer Holland and then from 1 Sep 41 as Jagdfliegerführer Holland, to control day fighter operations over The Netherlands under Jagdfliegerführer Mitte, then 1. Jagddivision and last under 3. Jagddivision.[1]


Holland and the Ruhr Area. (May 41 - Nov 43)

4 Feb 42: a Do 17E assigned to the Stab crashed into a hangar at Fp. Amsterdam-Schiphol, 80%.[2]

1 May 42: Stab subordinated to 1. Jagddivision effective this date.[3]

31 Jul 42: Stab transferred from Amsterdam-Schiphol to Deelen/7 km NNW of Arnhem.

2 Sep 42: a Stab Fw 58 damaged taxying at Fp. Deelen, 25%.

10 Dec 42: Stab Fw 190 A-4 damaged in landing accident at Fp. Deelen, 20%.

9 Jun 43: Stab Fw 190 A-4 damaged due to engine failure at Fp. Deelen, 45%.

15 Oct 43: Stab at Deelen under 3. Jagddivision.

1.12.43: Stab ordered renamed Jagdfliegerführer 3 (3. Jagddivision) and carried out on 7 Dec 43.[4]
