Formed on or about 27 May 1944 in Bucharest (ex-Befehlshaber der deutschen Luftwaffe in Rumänien). Responsible for Luftwaffe forces and activities in western Romania under Luftflotte 4.[1]

Jun 44: Bucharest - Stab gave a strength return of 149 officers and civilian officials (Beamte), and 314 NCOs and men.
4 Sep 44: ordered disbanded by Luftflotte 4 following the retreat of German forces from Romania.
