Formation and History. (Mar 44 - May 45)

Formed March 1944 and eventually transported to Tokyo aboard a U-boat. Kessler and others attempted to return to Germany on the U-234, but it was intercepted by U.S. naval forces en-route on 15 May 1945 and its passengers captured. ^[1]
