Lw.-Bau-Btl. 1/XI

Formed first half of 1941, with Feldpost numbers issued between February and July 1941. Had a Stab (Battalion HQ and staff) and three Kompanien (1., 2., 3.), but 3.Kp. was never completed and never received a Feldpost number. [1]

History

Mar-Oct 42: 2.Kp. and 3.Kp. both working on the airfield at Belgrade-Zemun (Semlin) in the former Yugoslavia. [2]

1944-45: Btl. on the Western Front in Germany assigned to Luftflotte 3/Luftwaffenkommando West. [3]

8 Feb 45: the Geräte-Kolonne was disbanded this date. [4]

Apr 45: still active on the Western Front. [5]

FpNs: Stab (L 42806), 1.Kp. (L 43058), 2.Kp. (L 43488), Geräte-Kolonne (L 37436).
