Formed mid-1940 with Feldpost numbers issued between May and September 1940. Had a Stab (Battalion HQ and staff) and three Kompanien (1., 2., 3.). [1]
History
1941: virtually nothing found in the primary and secondary resources for this unit except that Allied intelligence using captured documents, signals intelligence and POW interrogations said it was “employed in Russia during 1941.” [2]
1941: the Btl. was disbanded between Jul 41 and Jan 42. [3]
FpNs: Stab (L 09796), 1.Kp. (L 10231), 2.Kp. (L 12884), 3.Kp. (L 08333).
