1940 - formed with 3 Kp., from Lw.Bau-Btl. 10/See.[1]

1941-2 - deployed in the Central Sector of the Russian Front.[2]

1941 - service in Poland.[3]

27 Jan 1942 - Smolensk, 3 wounded by bombing.[4]

1 Feb 42: Smolensk under Lw.-Bau-Brigade II. Shortly after this date, it was ordered to the Front to serve as infantry during the Soviet counteroffensive west of Moscow. [5]

1 May 42: 8 men KIA and 32 MIA at Ananino (two choices: 171 km NW of Rzhev or 9 km NE of Vitebsk, but neither really seems to fit very well).[6]

13 May 1942 - Heeresgruppe Mitte provided a status update to Lw. Kdo. Ost and AOK 9 indicating that this unit would be released as soon after the arrival of its replacement.[7]

23 May 1942 - Heeresgruppe Mitte advised AOK 9 that Lw. Kdo. Ost had requested the urgent withdrawal of this Bau-Btl., to be sent to Vyazma.[8]

8 Jun 42: relieved at the front by 87. Infanterie-Div., transferred to Rzhev airfield and then to Smolensk on 11 Jun 42.[9]

Winter 1942/43 - Disbanded[10]
