Lw.-Bau-Btl. 23/XI

Formed summer of 1940 from Heeres-Bau-Btl. 225, with Feldpost numbers issued between May 1940 and September 1940. Had a Stab und Stabskompanie (Battalion HQ and HQ Company) and three Kompanien (1., 2., 3.). A Geräte-Kolonne (Equipment Column) was added later. [1]

20 Jun 41: Btl. at Rostken/East Prussia. [2]

28 Jul 41: now at Minsk-South airfield in Belorussia (Belarus). [3]

Aug 41 – Feb 42: Btl. disbanded. [4]

FpNs: Stab (L 13937), 1.Kp. (L 37465), 2.Kp. (L 32270), 3.Kp. (L 34957), Geräte-Kolonne (L 30269).
