1940 - Formed from Lw.-Bau-Btl. 17/XII with 3 Kp.[1]

4 Feb 1942 - attack by Allied naval forces on the freighters Schleswig Holstein and Hermann between Alderney and Cap de la Hague resulted 17 personnel from this unit either being killed or recorded as missing.[2]

1943 - disbanded.[3]
