Formation and History

Formed c. 1 November 1940 for service in North Norway as a headquarters and Stab (staff) to command attached Luftwaffe Bau (construction) units.

1 Nov 40: forming in N Norway. [1]

Nov 42: Stab in Tromsø/N Norway. Attached this date were Lw.-Bau-Btle. 23/III, 28/IV and 3/VIII. [2]

Jun 43: Stab still in Tromsø/N Norway, but no units were shown attached to it.[3]
