Formation and History

Formed c. 10 February 1940 as a headquarters and Stab (staff) to command attached Luftwaffe Bau (construction) units using personnel and other assets by renaming Stab/Lw.-Bau-Rgt. Mannheim-Sandhofen. Place of formation almost certainly Mannheim-Sandhofen in Luftgau XII. ^[1].

Feb 41: Stab in West France. ^[2]

Aug 41: Stab in Laval/W France. ^[3]

8 Apr 42: Stab transferred to Russia and now in the Roslavl-Krichev area. ^[4]

13 Oct 42: Stab now in Orel. ^[5]

1943: disbanded between Feb and Aug 43.
