Formation and History
Formed c. 25 January 1940 as a headquarters and Stab (staff) to command attached Luftwaffe Bau (construction) units. Place of formation not found, but almost certainly in Luftgau XI (comprising most of the territory of northwest and north-central Germany, including the Provinces of Hannover, Oldenburg, Braunschweig, Schleswig-Holstein and Mecklenburg). [1]
13 Mar 41: Stab at Deblin/Poland with Lw.-Bau-Btl. 14/III, 24/IV, 2/XI, 3/XI, 14/XI, 26/XI attached. [2]
1941-43: no primary documents found, but believed to have served on the Eastern Front.[3]
2 Jul 43: disbanded on or about this date.[4]
