Formation and History

Formed c. 10 February 1940 as a headquarters and Stab (staff) to command attached Luftwaffe Bau (construction) units. Place of formation not found, but almost certainly in Luftgau XIII (Central Germany centred on Nürnberg). ^[1]

20 Jun 41: Stab at Kutno/North Poland and probably subordinate to Luftwaffen-Baubrigade IV for the German attack on the USSR beginning 22 June 1941. ^[2]

4 Apr 42: Stab now in Smolensk/Central Sector of the Eastern Front. ^[3] 14 Sep 43: disbanded. ^[4]
