Formed: summer 1941 in Luftgau VI as Res.Flak-Abt. 541. Redesignated schwere Flak-Abt. 541(v) in July 1942. The Abt. was destroyed at Galatz/Romania in August 1944 and then rebuilt over the next several months, the new Stab being the former Stab/le.Flak-Abt. 737. Eventually had 5 numbered batteries (1.-5./541).[1]

History
3 Jun 42: deployed in the Bracht-Süchteln area in the Ruhr. [2]
Dec 42: at Krefeld under Flak-Rgt. 5 (Flakgruppe Krefeld. [3]
1 Mar 43: transferred from Germany to Russia and now in the Caucasia-Crimea area under Flak-Rgt 77/9. Flak-Division. [4]
3 May 43: Abt. arrived in Kharkov and assigned to 10. Flak-Div. [5]
Mar 44: Mielec-Jasionka area in S Poland under Flak-Rgt. 48/17. Flak-Div. [6]
9 Apr 44: Stab, 1. and 4./541 in rail transport to Focşani/Romania, while 2. and 3./541 were in Kishinev/Bessarabia. [7]
23 Aug 44: Galatz (Galati)/Romania under 15. Flak-Div. The Abt. was destroyed here and then rebuilt. [8]
8 Feb 45: again operational, located in the Luftgau VI area (Ruhr). [9]
