Formed February 1943 at Travemünde at the same time as See-Transportstaffel 1, or in September/October 1943 at Kiel-Holtenau? The answer to this question has not been found. Equipped with Ju 52/3m Wasser floatplane transports.[1]
Denmark and Norway. (Oct 43 - May 45)
30 Aug 43: all or elements identified in Italy, but this appears to be incorrect and a misidentification.[2]
10 Sep 43: all or part transferred to Friedrichshafen to have special tests carried out on its aircraft – still there on 22 September.[3]
1 Oct 43: ordered to transfer immediately to Vigna di Valle seaplane station in C Italy on Lake Bracciano 28.5 km NW of Rome for operational subordination of XI. Fliegerkorps.[4]
3 Oct 43: Ju 52 (See) tipped over while attempting to take off from Kiel-Holtenau, 25%.[5]
8 Oct 43: ordered to depart Italy and transfer to Trondheim-Hommelvik.[6]
17 Nov 43: Ju 52 floatplane flipped over during a force landing at Fp. Aalborg/N Denmark, 80%; a second Ju 52 also crashed the same date at Aalborg due to engine failure, 70%.
13 Dec 43: Ju 52 force landed in bad weather at Billefjord/N Norway, 20%.
31 Jan 44: Norway with 10 Ju 52 floatplanes on strength.[7]
30 Apr 44: Trondheim-Hommelvik with 10 Ju 52 floatplanes.[8]
10 Aug 44: Norway with 9 Ju 52 floatplanes on strength.[9]
Oct 44: at Trondheim-Hommelvik attached to TGr. 20 - duties consisted of the airlifting of urgent supplies, especially aircraft spare parts, to bases in northern Norway.[10]
25 Dec 44: Trondheim-Hommelvik under Komm.Gen.d.Dt.Lw. in Norwegen.[11]
25 Jan 45: same as above.[12]
25 Apr 45: Trondheim-Hommelvik with 7 Ju 52 floatplanes.[13]
8 May 45: surrendered at Trondheim-Hommelvik with 8 Ju 52 floatplanes, 2 officers and 39 men.[14]
