Seenotbereichskommando (L) (10)
Formation and History. (Oct 41 - Jun 42)
Formed the second half of October or beginning of November 1941 at Taormina/NE Sicily by renaming Seenotzentrale (L) ostw.Ostsee. Subordinated to X. Fliegerkorps. Exercised tactical control over sea rescue assets deployed in the central Mediterranean and North Africa. Moved from Taormina to Siracusa/E Sicily at the beginning of 1942. Renamed Seenotbereichskommando X on 1 June 1942.[1]
