Formation and History. (Jun 42 - Aug 44)
Formed 1 June 1942 at Boulogne-Wimereux/NE France by renaming Seenotzentrale (L) Kanalküste. Subordinated to Seenotdienstführer West (later Seenotdienstführer 3). Exercised tactical control over sea rescue assets deployed along the Channel coast from Bay of the Seine to approximately the French-Belgian border. Disbanded 19 August 1944 at Boulogne-Wimereux and most of its personnel incorporated into Seenotflottille 3.[1]
