Formation and History. (Jun 42 - Aug 44)
Formed 1 June 1942 at Wilhelmshaven-Sengwarden by renaming Seenotzentrale (L) Nord. Subordinated to Seenotdienstführer 1, also based at Wilhelmshaven-Sengwarden. Exercised tactical control over sea rescue assets deployed along the northwest German coast from the Dutch border to Denmark. Disbanded at Wilhelmshaven-Sengwarden on 19 August 1944.[1]
