Seenotdienstführer 3

Formation and History. (Dec 42 - Aug 44)

Formed 1 December 1942 at Paris-Sèvres from the Stäbe (staffs) of the disbanded Seenotdienstführer West and I./Seenotgruppe. Exercised control over all sea rescue assets in the Luftflotte 3 area, mainly along the coast of France, Belgium and Holland. Location remained unchanged until it was disbanded on 19 August 1944.[1]
