Formation and History. (Jun 42 - Aug 44)

Formed (new) o/a 1 June 1942 at Oslo/Norway. Exercised control over all sea rescue assets in the Luftflotte 5 area in Norway and Finland. Location remained unchanged until it was renamed Stab/Seenotgruppe 50 on 19 August 1944.[1]
