Seenotflottille 8

Formation and History. (Jun 42 - Aug 44)

Formed o/a 1 June 1942 at Stavanger-Sola (See) in southwest Norway and subordinated to Seenotbereichskommando VIII. Later moved to Trondheim where it was ordered renamed Seenotflottille 50 on 19 August 1944.[1]
