Formation and History. (Aug 44)

Ordered formed 19 August 1944 at Constanţa/Romania using the assets formerly assigned to the disbanded Seenotbereichskdo. XII. Formation was cancelled during the next 10 days following the Soviet offensive into Romania on 19 August and that country’s changing of sides a few days later.[1]
