Seenotkommando 14

Formation and History. (May 42 - Aug 44)

Formed (new) in 1942 in the Mediterranean area and eventually located at Elmas seaplane station at the south end of Sardinia. Transferred to Pola/Istria in Sep or Oct 43 where it was subordinated to Seenotbereichskdo. XIV (Pola). Directed sea rescue operations in the northern Adriatic. Ordered disbanded 19 August 1944.[1]
