Formed (new) May 1942 at Boulogne/NE France. Subordinated to Seenotbereichskdo. III (Boulogne-Wimereux). Directed sea rescue operations in the mid-Channel area centered on Boulogne. Ordered disbanded 19 August 1944.^[1]
