Formation and Organization. (Oct 37)
Formed (new) 1 October 1937 at Kamp, 15 km WSW of Kolberg on the Baltic coast and remained there throughout its existence. During the campaign in Poland in September 1939 its two Staffeln flew maritime reconnaissance over the Baltic. On 25 (22?) Oct 39 it was redesignated Stab/Kü.Fl.Gr. 906.[1]
