(A) (47.32.15 N – 14.08.20 E)

General: AKA Aigen bei Worschach. Steiermark. Einsatzhäfen. 10 km west south west of Liezen. 110 Km North West of Graz. Near the south bank of the River Enns immediately to the north of the Putterer See.

History: Planned by Austrian Air force in 1935. Building commenced in 1936 with the hangers built in 1937.

Runway: Grass field

Infrastructure: All buildings were on the south side of the airfield. (hangers, airfield control, workshops, motor transport pool, Wireless building, fuel stores and ammunition dumps etc.)

Machine gun ranges were located to the west of the village of Hoenburg.
