3 Nov 1943 – A celebration of the 5th Anniversary of the formation of 3.(F)/122 was held at the Kasino Badhoevedorp at 19.30hrs.
He 111 F6+DM sea recce sortie (probably from Sarabus) over the Black Sea.[3]

The following is the only claim made in the MTO by US aircraft for an Me 210/410 - 4Nov43; 1/Lt Edmund D. Griffin Jr.; 523FS/27FG; Me210; vicinity of Guidonia A/D; 10:50; PER: B0100/0969 – this pilot went on to claim an Me 109G-2 in the same area 10 minutes later.[6] |
5 Nov 1943 – He 111 F6+GM abandoned its sortie due to technical issues.[7]
6 Nov 1943 – 2(F)./122 flew a photo recce mission over Naples harbor to assess the damage from a Luftwaffe bomber attack that took place during the preceding night.[8]
He 111 F6+EM flew a night sea recce sortie (probably over the Black Sea) from Sarabus.[9]
8 Nov 1943 - Gruko Maj. Orlowski, Hptm. Karl-Heinz Hilbig and another man reported MIA northeast of Pescara on the east coast of Italy in a Ju 88D-l belonging to 1 (F)/123 that was believed shot down by a pair of P-38 Lightnings.[10]

29 Nov 1943 – 4(F)./122 sent an aircraft to photograph the airfield at Agaiman, Southern Ukraine (target Code SU 10 8749; Pl. Qu. 34 Ost 47351).[18]

- ↑ Andy Fletcher by e-mail 03/07/04 - his claim is the only one made in the MTO by US aircraft on 4Nov43 for a Me210/410. It was Griffin's first claim. He claimed a second aircraft 10 minutes later (Bf109G-2) in the same area, these were his only claims in the MTO. In total 523FS/27FG claimed three aircraft in this area 1xMe210 and 2xBf109G-2, these were infact the only US claims this day in the MTO. NB cannot trace Castelignano on a map – however, Civita Castellana is to be found approx 60km north of Rome.
