Gefechtsverband Bormann


Formed 9 November 1941 at Flugplatz (airfield) Orsha-South in Belorussia from Stab/KG 76 (Obstlt. Dr. Ernst Bormann) with elements of KG 54, KG 76 and KG 77 to support the offensive on Moscow, the collapse of this offensive, and the defensive fighting that followed. Gefechtsverband Bormann was dissolved on 11 April 1942.[1]
