Formed July 1940.[1]


East Prussia and North Russia

Jul 40 – Apr 42: defensive deployment in East Prussia along the Lithuanian border then, from 22 June 1941, attack on the Soviet Union via Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia to the gates of Leningrad, where 18th Army was to remain as the main German field command responsible for surrounding the city.

21 Jun 41: Koluft AOK 18 subordinated this date: 4 Aufklärungsstaffeln (3.(F)/22, 2.(H)/21, 4.(H)/21, 7.(H)/21), Kurierstaffel 12, 3 Flak-Abt. (Flakregimentsstab 164 with II./36, I./51, I./111) and Ln.-Abt. 7 (H) (mot.).

Apr 42: Koluft disbanded.
