Formed - 1940 from assets of Lw.-Bau-Btl. 19/XII and eventually had a Stab and 3 companies.[1]

Jan 1941 - stationed in West France.[2]

4 Jan 1942 - Btl. arrived in Smolensk for assignment to Lw.-Gefechtsverband VIII. Fliegerkorps.

10 Jan 1942 - all or elements airlifted to Rzhev. [3]

Feb 1942 - Rshev area under Gefechtsverband General Schlemm.[4]

24 Feb 1942 - Okorckowo, 1 killed by a mine.[5]

7 Mar 1942 - Okorckowo, 1 killed by artillery fire.[6]

4 Apr 1942 - According to a telex sent by VIII Fliegerkorps Ia. (No.7253/42), all Lw.Bau-Batl. still engaged in ground combat with the 4th and 9th AOK were to be released and placed at the disposal of Lg. Kdo. Moscow again.[7]

2 May 1942 - Lw.Bau-Batl. 14/XVII was still deployed with the AOK 6 for railway protection. Lg. Kdo. Moscow therefore intended to withdraw this battalion on 15.5.42 and asked for Heeresgruppe Mitte's agreement to this.[8]

23 May 1942 - Heeresgruppe Mitte advised AOK 9 that Lw. Kdo. Ost had requested the urgent withdrawal of this Bau-Btl., to be sent to Vyazma.[9]

1 Jun 1942 - ordered to trf to Rzhev airfield. [10]

2 Jun 1942 - Luftw.Bau-Batl.14/XVII was to be deployed to the airfield at Rzhev. Successful deployment was to be reported to Luftw.Kdo.Ost and Heeresgruppe Mitte.[11]

21 Jun 1942 - arrived at Vyazma/South airfield.[12]

7 Mar 43 - transferred to Shatalovka/East and West airfields.[13]

11 Jun 43 - Btl. reported 4 men WIA in enemy bombing at Shatalovka/East airfield.[14]

12 Oct 43 - Fl.H. Orscha-Süd, 2 injured during a bombing attack.[15]

Jun-Aug 44 - Btl. reported losses at Bobruisk and Minsk.[16]

Jun 1944 - elements of this unit were located at Bobruisk[17]

1945 - Btl. divided between Kurland (Courland) and Neubrandenburg.[18]
