Establishment
1. and 2. staffel used He 50 aircraft while 3. Staffel used Arado Ar 66.
Due to attrition the unit began to receive Fokker CV-E aircraft to supplement their He 50/Ar 66 aircraft. These "New" CV-E aircraft started to arrive during Feb 1944.

Operational Duties
From the beginning of 1944 the unit operated under the control of Flieger Division 3 in the Kurland Front area.
The units prime task was the operation of night harassment flights over Russion positions – these operations taking place on clear nights.
Feb 1944 - Soviet forces had advanced to Narva (Estonia) NSGr 11 was concentrated on the airfields of Jöhvi and Rahtka and flew operational sorties to relieve the Narva front up until Aug 1944.
7 Oct 1944 – Disbandment ordered along with NGGr 12 and the latvian and Estonian Legions.[4]
3 Oct 1944 Fokker CV-E WNr. 64 '3W + OD', with 8 on the tail, from N.S.Gr. 11 flew to Sweden.[2]
