Formation and History. (May 42 - Aug 44)

Formed May 1942 at Royan on the Bay of Biscay north or Bordeaux in France by renaming Seenotbezirksstelle Royan. Subordinated to Seenotbereichskdo. I (Brest). Directed sea rescue operations in the Bay of Biscay centred on Royan. Disbanded 19 August 1944.^[1]
