Formation and History. (Aug 39 - Jun 42)
Formed (new) o/a late August 1939 at Wilhelmshaven-Sengwarden. Responsible for air-sea rescue operations in the North Sea along the northwest coast of Germany. Renamed Seenotbereichskdo. V o/a 1 June 1942.[1]
