Transportfliegerstaffel 4


Little information. Reportedly formed in March 1944 by renaming Savoia-Staffel 1. See under Savoia-Staffel for more details. On 2 Jun 44, Transportfliegerstaffel 4 was addressed at Schroda near Poznań (Posen) in W Poland with a total of 9 aircraft. At that time, it was attached to IV./TG 3.[1] It was still in existence on 19 Aug 44 and was bases at Würzburg.[2]
